Only 1 - 100% Cotton Large t-shirt available
The Waikiki Club, aka Ted Enoch’s Waikiki aka The New Waikiki, was a hotel, restaurant and bar located on Catalina Island in Southern California. The small 20 unit hotel touted the “finest stocked bar in the world,” “ fine cuizine” (with a ‘z’), nightly entertainment and dancing. Originally opened in the 1940s, the Wakiki Club had a good long run but, like so many tiki bars we have featured here, burned to ground in 1979.
If you are lucky enough to be visiting Catalina this summer there is an exhibit at the Catalina Museum for Art & History, Tall Tiki Tales, that explores the Island’s contribution in the popularization of tiki culture, curated by author, tiki scholar, and cinematographer Sven Kirsten.
This t-shirt is available for Pre-Order through July 31st and will be shipping mid August.
